I don't know what makes me cry my eyes out at the Olympics, but I think it may have to do with all the bad news that is usually on. How often do we get to watch someones hopes and dreams come true? When do we see people from all over the world doing nothing more than getting along playing games? Bob Costas was an ass, taking every opportunity to rip on Bode Miller. The guy had the time of his life and still skied better than most of the people on earth, so who care if he didn't win a medal? My pal Roger made a good point that the set for NBC could have been anywhere, what made it look like it was in Italy? Why not be out on the street? Bad coverage by NBC, but cool during the day when they just let curling and hockey run. It would have been neat to see a x-country ski race or biathalon that way.
